Analysis of your To Do List is a key factor in focusing your efforts on the items that need to be done now to achieve your goals. The Dashboard gives you a snapshot summary of the current completion rate for your To Do Lists, this includes a measure of the remaining hours for your lists.
To access the Dashboard click on the 'Dashboard' image in the Analysis section of the ribbon.
When you click on 'Dashboard' the reports are refreshed for the current items in the workbooks To Do Lists. It is possible to Filter by a To Do List or to see the snapshot for multiple To Do Lists by using the Filter at the top of the Dashboard.
The Dashboard is designed with 3 charts of performance and one filter to set the basis for the charts. The charts are
Items by List - This is a "Doughnut' chart that totals the % of each type of Item in all Lists. For this chart the more (Green) you see the more items have been completed, items in (Yellow) are In Progress and items Not Started or On Hold are shown in (Red)
Total Hours by List over Time - This is a "100% Stacked Column" chart that totals the % of each type of Item in all Lists over time. Underneath the chart the total hours of each type is shown for the month. Overtime the chart will be populated with months and years of data.
Hours remaining by List - This is a "Stacked Column" chart that totals the hours that are remaining for each To Do List by type. Underneath the chart the total hours of each type is shown for the list.
Filter by To Do List - Clicking on the Filter will set the charts to display the data for that To Do List only. Holding down the Ctrl key and selecting multiple To Do Lists will show the values on the charts for those lists. Clearing the To Do List will set the charts for all To Do Lists in the workbook.
The Dashboard colours are set for the Status values to ensure that all charts show the same background colour when displayed in a chart.
Not Started & On Hold (Red) activities to be completed
In Progress (Yellow) activities underway
Cancelled & Completed (Green) activities are finished or cancelled
For the charts "Green" is good as it indicates are greater completion rate for your To Do Lists.

The image below will demonstrate the Dashboard in action with the use of the Filter displaying the selection of specific To Do Lists to show the results for that To Do List or multiple lists.
Key Note: To select more than one To Do List on the Filter hold the Ctrl key while clicking on the required To Do Lists for display.
