You may be a first time user or an existing licenced user. This notification is shown when a new To Do List workbook is opened for the first time. We provide a few quick tips to ensure your transition to this new version of To Do List is as smooth as possible.
For new users
We recommend you review the Getting Started video. It provides a quick overview of the key functions and features for To Do List to help you begin your setup of To Do List.
You can also review the Quick Start Guide that will get you up and going with To Do List in less than 5 minutes.
Existing licenced users....is this a new Major Version ?
Listed on the top right hand side of each To Do List worksheet is the version.
If the new To Do List workbook is a major version upgrade for your installation then you may need to purchase a new licence or pay an upgrade fee. A major version upgrade is indicated by a change in the major version number, for example from 'v2.2.4' to 'v3.0.1'.
Major versions are released with significant new functionality and features. You don't need to upgrade to a major version but we recommend that To Do List users upgrade regularly to ensure they have access to the latest fixes and features.
If on opening the new To Do List workbook you see the XLAutomation Production Activation form asking you to provide a "Serial Key" and "Email Address" then you have opened a new major version of To Do List.
If you elect to upgrade to a new major version of To Do List you will be required to either purchase a new licence or pay an upgrade fee. Refer to the XLAutomation Website for details on the costs to upgrade to a new major version.
